Litter Pick.

The Litter Pick will now not take place until Saturday 6th April at 10.30am. In the meantime Road/Street volunteers should pick up Litter at their earliest convenience. Thank You.

History & Heritage:

A walking inspection of the Heritage of the Village & Ennisnag area will take place with the County Council Heritage Officer as well as the KCC Conservation Officer this week to review the Heritage of the area as part of the Village Renewal Scheme. Work is continuing apace on many fronts on the scheme.

Photographic Exhibition.

Due to the volume of photographs received and captioning work required we will now be mounting the Exhibition during Heritage Week in August at the Stoneyford Community Centre instead of on Easter Sunday.

Please support your local businesses and greatly facilitate local employment.

Roadside Grass Margins.

The Roadside grass verges are very soft following all of the inclement weather we would appeal to motorists and especially van and truck drivers NOT to drive or park on them.

Stoneyford Bingo:

Bingo Session in the Community Centre, Stoneyford on every Tuesday at 8.30p.m.

Newmarket/Hugginstown Social Club:

The Newmarket/Hugginstown Social Club will have their ‘Get Together’ on Tuesday 13th. March in “Gáirdín an Ghorta” from 2.00p.m. to 4.30p.m.. All are very welcome.

The Organisation supports bereaved parents. It will hold its next monthly Parent Evening on Monday 19th. March from 7.30p.m. to 9:00p.m. in the Horse & Jockey Hotel, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. ‘Anam Cara’ offers a safe and comfortable setting where you can ‘drop the mask’ and be yourself among people who understand. This event is open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether this was recent or not.

A Lecture on “The Redmond’s and Waterford – A Political Dynasty 1891 – 1952” will be given by Dr. Pat McCarthy on Thursday 15th. March at 8.00p.m. in Mullinavat Parish Hall.
