Ordination of Mgr. Dermot Farrell:

The Ordination of Mgr. Dermot Farrell as Bishop of Ossory will take place in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Kilkenny on this Sunday 11th. March at 3.00p.m. Please collect the Pastoral Letter by Mgr. Dermot Farrell to the people of Ossory.

Lenten Station Masses:

Lenten Station Masses will take place on Sunday 18th. March in Stoneyford Church at 10.00a.m. and in Hugginstown Church at 11.00a.m. Envelopes available in the Church.

First Penance:

Celebration of First Penance for the Pupils of Newmarket School will take place in Hugginstown Church on Thursday 15th. March at 7.00p.m.

Aghaviller Parish Pastoral Council:

Meeting in the Parish House, Hugginstown on Wednesday 14th. March at 8.00p.m.

World Meeting of Families:
Parishioners who would like to attend all or part of the event can register now for the three-day Pastoral Congress on www.worldmeeting 2018.ie.  Tickets for the Congress are limited but they guarantee entrance for the Festival of Families and the Final Mass which is expected to be led by Pope Francis.  Although there will be no charge for any event led by the Pope, tickets for the Festival of Families will not be released until a later date, along with tickets for the Mass.‘Anam Cara’:

The Organisation supports bereaved parents. It will hold its next monthly Parent Evening on Monday 19th. March from 7.30p.m. to 9:00p.m. in the Horse & Jockey Hotel, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. ‘Anam Cara’ offers a safe and comfortable setting where you can ‘drop the mask’ and be yourself among people who understand. This event is open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether this was recent or not.

Vocations Weekend:

Did You Ever think of being a Priest? Not sure who You can talk to, or what to do next?   Need more information and space to think things over? Come along to St Mary’s Cathedral on Saturday 24th. March from 11.00a.m. to 7.00p.m. for time of quiet reflection and prayer.   It will be an opportunity to lean more about Diocesan Priesthood and how to discover the path God is inviting you to follow in your life.
