Stoneyford Retirement Group’s visit to Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre to watch “The Valley of the Squinting Windows” was a thought-provoking experience. Set in early 20th century Ireland during World War I, the play’s excellent production and hard-hitting theme captivated the audience. Reflecting on its impact, one can’t help but wonder how the original book was received upon its publication.

The Fit Club has started its winter season with sessions every Wednesday at Stoneyford Community Hall. The Stoneyford Active Retirement Group offers various activities and games, while the Parish Social Club will meet on November 14 for a commemorative mass.
