On the 7th September 2022 Stoneyford Active retirement Group held its first a meeting of the Autumn season. It was a lively and well attended meeting, the minutes from the previous meeting were read and discussed and matters arising were dealt with.
A financial statement was presented by the treasurer and a healthy bank balance was reported.
- It was reported that Computer Classes will resume on the 13th September and all are welcome regardless of experience or lack thereof .
- Short Mat Bowling commences on Wednesday 14th September @ 10.30, Hall Rental €3.
- Fit Club resumes on 14th September at 7.00 (€7).
- Bowling in KK, €7, includes tea/coffee & biscuits: Thursdays – 15/9 & 29/9 @ 11.30.
- Cards – 25, Thursdays – 8/9 & 22/9 @ 2.30, Hall Rental €3 plus €2 to play.
On 15th June, a number of members enjoyed a tasty lunch in Holycross Inn, near Waterford City, after which they proceeded to Curraghmore House in Portlaw for a very enjoyable tour of the house, gardens and shell house.
The group was treated to two poems by Angela.
Refreshments were served and a rota for refreshments in the coming months was established.
Next meeting was arranged for 5th October 2022 @ 2.30pm.
