Stoneyford Active Retirement Group:

Stoneyford Active Retirement Group is a very active, vibrant group for Retirees. It is open to all members of the wider community who are over the age of 50. 

Regular activities

  1. include 10 Pin Bowling;
  2. Cards (25’s);
  3. Keep Fit Club and
  4. Computer studies. 
  5. Outings.
  6. Indoor Bowls
  7. Walking Trips

There is a small membership fee to cover the cost of Insurance and Hall Rental for meetings. The next meeting is in the Community Hall on Wednesday 2nd. March at 2.30p.m.

Fit Club:

The next group of 5 Fit Club sessions, with Séamus, will begin on 23 March 2022. All are welcome. The cost is €35 for the entire course or €7 per night. Participants are encouraged to pay for the entire course on the first night. This cuts down on administration and acts as an impetus to attend every night.

Stoneyford Text Alert:

The current Committee have decided to stand down after 5 years of running the scheme. The Text Alert will be discontinued at the end of the current subscription period unless other people are willing to take on the roles. Please contact Lisa or Joe if you would like to keep this worthwhile scheme up and running.

Ukraine Appeal:

A sincere thanks to all the pupils of the three Parish Schools who collected all the colouring books, colour pencils, markers, crayons etc. over last weekend.  All on its way to the children of Ukraine and to those children crossing to Poland. All of it will help to occupy the children as they escape to safety.
