All Public Masses on Saturdays, Sundays and Weekdays are cancelled.

Mass is said privately each day and is offered for all the people of our parish and for those who continue to care for the sick and those in need. First Friday Visit to housebound will not take place next Friday 3rd. April.

Lenten Station:

Envelopes for the Lenten Station Contribution are available in the Church. This contribution is for the support of the priests of the Parish and the Diocese.

Scripture Reflection:

Reflection Scripture Card on the Gospel of next Sunday is available at back of Church.


During the season of Lent, Trócaire asks people to remember the thousands of families who have been torn apart by conflict.

The Lenten Theme this year is:

St. Mary’s Cathedral Restoration Fund Draw:

The new Draw was due to begin on Wednesday 25th. March. During these weeks you can follow Mass on T.V each day;

Mass on Local Radio on Sundays and some parishes in the Diocese have Mass on website.

Every Catholic is entitled to a dignified Christian Burial. Attendance at Funeral Masses or Service has to be limited to close family members only.

Pastoral Letter:

Bishop Dermot Farrell has published a Pastoral Letter:  “Apart But Not Alone:  Hope and Strength in a Time

of Crisis and Fear”   Copies of this letter are available in the Churches.

Summer Time:

Summer Time begins this weekend. Clocks go forward one hour on this Saturday 28th. March.

Prayer to St Roch: Prayer to be preserved from contagious diseases:

O God, who through an Angle, promised St Roch that those who invoke His name or

seek His intercession will be preserved from all dangers and contagious diseases.

Grant that through His intercession we may be preserved from this present danger.

We ask this through Christ Our Lord.   St. Rock pray for us.
