Suicide Memorial Service:

A special service of commemoration for all who have been in any way touched by suicide will take place in the Augustinian Abbey, Fethard, on Sunday March 15^th. at 11.30a.m.  The service is open to all especially to anybody who has in any way been affected by suicide. It will be an occasion of closure and healing.  Various community groups will participate including C- Saw a local suicide support group. Participants are invited if they so wish to bring along any mementos, photos etc. on the day.

Trócaire:         

During the season of Lent, Trócaire asks people to remember the thousands of families who have been torn apart by conflict.  The Lenten Theme this year is:  “Hold fast to Love and Justice”  Please take your Trócaire Box home with youand for more information on this year campaign visit www.trocaire.orgor call 01 629 3333

Eucharistic Ministers:

There is a need for new Eucharistic Ministers for both Hugginstown and Stoneyford Masses. During Lent each year the Diocese of Ossory offers a course of preparation for those who are to be commissioned as extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist. A Course will take place for the Southern Deanery on Wednesday 11^th. March from7.30p.m to 8.30p.m. in Mullinavat Parish Hall.

Confirmation:

Confirmation will be celebrated in Hugginstown Church on Friday 20^th. March at 11.00a.m

St. Mary’s Cathedral Restoration Fund Draw:

A new Draw will begin on Wednesday 25^th. March.  Tickets are available at the moment from the Parish House, Hugginstown.  The draw will be held on the last Wednesday of each month with prize money €5,000.00 per month.  Tickets must be in by Monday 23^rd. Reflection Scripture Card on the Gospel of next Sunday is available at back of Church.

Lenten Station:

Envelopes for the Lenten Station Contribution are available in the Church. This contribution is for the support of the priests of the Parish and the Diocese and can be placed into the Collection Bags at the weekends.
