Stoneyford:

Wednesday and Friday at 7.00p.m.

Visitation with Holy Communion will take place as usual next Friday. Please let us know if you would like to receive Holy Communion in your home for the First Fridays or at any other time.

Blessing of Candles to be used in the Churches during the year will take place during Mass on this Sunday(Feast of the Presentation of Our Lord) in Hugginstown Church at 10.00a.m.

Church Candles, (or Donations for Candles), may be left into the Church Sacristy.

Blessing of Throats will take place after Masses over the weekend.

Foster Carers:

The Kilkenny Tusla Fostering Team are currently recruiting Foster Carers for long/short term placements; weekend and respite placements of children aged 0-18. An information event is being held on Friday 7^th. February from 2.00p.m. to 5.00p.m. in Thomastown Library: alternatively please call 086 008 3241 for more information.

The Annual Church Gate Collection for “Enable Ireland”will take place on 1^st./2^nd.February.

Confirmation Preparation:   (Commitment Ceremony)

Masses in preparation for Confirmation (Commitment Ceremony) will be celebrated on

Saturday 8^th. February in Stoneyford Church at 6.30p.m.:

Catholic School Week:

Mass will be celebrated in Newmarket School on Wednesday 5^th. February at 2.00p.m.

Mass will be celebrated in Stoneyford School on Thursday 6^th. February at 11.30a.m.

Enrolments are now being taken for September 2020 in St. Brendan’s School, Newmarket.  Please contact the school at 056 776 8919 for Enrolment Form.

Stoneyford School:

Meeting of the Board of Management will be held in the School on Wednesday 5^th. February at 8.00p.m.

Book Shop:

St Mary’s Cathedral Book & Gift Shop stocks a large selection of books, rosaries, crucifixes, gifts and cards. There are over 40 different Bibles on display.  It has recently received new stock for First Communion and Confirmation gifts.  It also has Irish language Mass Cards, Mass Bouquets and First Communion Rosettes. Opening times, Tuesday to Friday, from 9.00a.m. to 5.00p.m.
