Sunday 22nd  at 10.00a.m. 

Stoneyford:

Wednesday  at 7.00p.m.

Vigil – Saturday 21st at 6.30p.m.;            

Friday 20th.       Visitation with Holy Communion will take place as usual next Friday.

Please let us know if you would like to receive Holy Communion in your home for Christmas or at any other time.

Sacrament of Healing and Reconciliation:

The Sacrament of Healing and Reconciliation for Christmas will be celebrated during Mass in Stoneyford Church on Saturday 21st. December at 6.30p.m.

and in Hugginstown Church on Sunday 22nd. December at 10.00a.m.

Family Christmas Masses:

There will be a Family Mass for Young Families, Parents and  Children on Christmas Eve Tuesday 24th. December.         

In Stoneyford Church at 5.30p.m.     

In Hugginstown Church at 7.00p.m.

Many of the children will be taking an active part in these celebrations. They will be involved with the Choirs, Readings, Prayers, Gifts, Servers etc.  All children are invited to bring a little gift for others who are in need. We ask parents to come with their children and to join in the singing of the Christmas Carols and to celebrate as family.

 Ordination of Bishop Edmond Whelan :

Bishop Edmond Whelan was ordained a Bishop in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York on Tuesday last 10th. December 2019.  His Great Grandfather Michael Whelan was born on 6th. November 1866 in Kilkeasy and baptised in Hugginstown.  Michael had an older brother James born on 9th. May 1862.  Their parents were John Whelan and Bridget Walsh. Michael a native of Kilkeasy immigrated to the U.S.A. at the end of 1880s.

Monroe School:

The children from Monroe will present their “Funky Christmas Concert” on Wednesday 18th. and Thursday 19th. December at 7.00p.m. in the Community Centre, Hugginstown.

All are very welcome.
