Eucharistic Adoration:

Eucharistic Adoration in Hugginstown Church every Thursday from 10.00a.m. to 8.00p.m. All are welcome to join for any period of time.

On Thursday 28^th. November, Adoration will conclude will Holy Hour and Benediction (Prayers for Vocations) from 7.00p.m. to 8.00p.m

The Annual Collection in aid of “Retired and Sick Priests” will be held after all Masses in the Diocese next weekend 23^rd./24^th. November.

Diocese of Ossory,  Safeguarding Sunday:

This week-end 23^rd. and 24^th. November 2019 – the Feast of Christ the King –  is designated by the Church in Ossory as Diocesan Safeguarding Awareness Weekend. During this weekend the Church emphasises the importance of safeguarding children/vulnerable adults of our faith community and the importance of  ensuring good safeguarding practice throughout the Diocese.

Good Safeguarding practice is now a priority in our parishes, our schools and in all sporting and cultural organisations. It is important for all of us who work with children and vulnerable adults to ensure our safeguarding practice is up to date and in line with national  requirements. Good safeguarding practice is integral to ministry – it is not an option. For information on Safeguarding in the Diocese and the Parish, please take a copy of the Diocesan Safeguarding Newsletter, (Parish Activities; Role of Safeguarding Representative; Cherishing our Children), will be distributed by the Parish Safeguarding Representatives after Mass today. Please take a copy.
