Remembrance Masses and Rosary for the Faithful Departed:

Remembrance Masses for the Faithful Departed will be celebrated on Saturday 2nd. November:  In Stoneyford Church at 6.30p.m. and in Hugginstown Church at 8.00p.m.   All who have lost a family member during the past year will be invited to bring a candle to the altar in remembrance of their loved ones during the Masses.  All are invited to write down the names of their own departed ones and place them at the altar for the month of November. They will be remembered at all Masses during November.

Rosary will be recited in Calvary Cemetery on Sunday 3rd. November at 12.00 Noon

Eucharistic Adoration:

Eucharistic Adoration in Hugginstown Church every Thursday from 10.00a.m. to 8.00p.m. All are welcome to join for any period of time.

November Offerings:

Envelopes for the November Offerings are available in the Church Porch.  Please use them for your offering, which can be returned during the month of November. Your contributions are for the support of the priests of the Parish and the Diocese.

Rome Pilgrimage:

The Ossory Adult Faith Development group are leading a pilgrimage to Rome (August 24th. to 29th. 2020). These days in the Eternal City are an opportunity through art and sacred sites to unlock knowledge of our faith and to deepen our understanding of God.  Anyone interested can contact afd@ossory.ie or 056 775 3624.

Taizé Youth Programme 2020:

A Youth Trip to Taizé in France organised by Ossory Youth will take place from Sunday 28th. June to Sunday 5th. July 2020. A week in the Taize Community is an opportunity for reflection and contemplation and a little step back from daily life. But bringing people together is also the essence of Taize and it is a week of meeting young people from different countries and cultures where new friendships are made. Tens of thousands of young people from around the world, including 30 from Kilkenny, made the trip to Taizé this year.

The programme, which runs from December 2019 to July 2020 is open to Transition year,5th. Year and Leaving Cert students. Closing date is Friday 22nd. November.
