The Memory Technology Resource Rooms:
The Memory Technology Resource Rooms are open every Wednesdayin St. Columba’s Hospital Thomastown, Kilkennyand every Thursday in Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow.
The Memory Technology Resource Rooms (MTRRS) are run by an Occupational Therapist and showcase a variety of assistive technology equipment. The MTRR is free to attend and provides people with memory difficulties and their carers the opportunity to see and discuss the benefits of assistive technology equipment. The Occupational Therapist will be able to provide the person with memory difficulties or carers with information on devices and strategies that promote independence safety and quality of life (sample devices include: Medication Reminders, Electronic calendars/clocks, Leisure activities, safety devices and simplified phones) If you would like to schedule an appointment please contact: Lisa Farley (Occupational Therapist), on 087 720 1503

Pulsewave Ireland are holding Heart Screening clinics in Kilkenny & Carrick On Suir.

Tuesday 10th. September in the Carraig Hotel, Carrick On Suir
Appointments are available from 11.00a.m. to 8.00p.m. daily. Call 087-7151623 to make an appointment as spaces are limited. The Screening is medically approved and each person will receive a detailed printout which they may discuss with their own G.P.
