Carrickshock Monument:
The corrosive effects of the elements have caused a deterioration in the condition of the Carrickshock Monument and this is a matter of concern. Monumental Sculptor, Pat Murphy, Callan has professionally examined the monument and has volunteered to carry out the necessary repairs free of charge. For this generous contribution to our heritage, the Carrickshock Memorial Committee, the people of Hugginstown and South Kilkenny are truly grateful to Pat.
