‘Corpus Christi’ Processions:

The ‘Corpus Christi’ Processions will take place on next Sunday 23rd. June (Feast of ‘Corpus Christi’) after Mass inHugginstown Church at 11.15a.m.   All those who received their First Holy Communion in the parish this year together with their parents and families are invited to take part.

Knock Pilgrimage:

Ballyhale Parish is organising a Pilgrimage to Knock for Saturday 27th. July and returning 28th. July 2019.  If you would like to book, please contact Frank or Mary Aylward; or  Catriona Fitzpatrick; or Bridget Murphy or Nora Dermody.

June Collection:

The “June Collection 2019” for the support of the priests of the Parish and the Diocese will be taken up during the month of June.  Envelopes for this collection are available in Porch.


The Church Gate Collection in aid of the “Irish Wheelchair Association” will be held this weekend 15th./16th. June.


Bingo Session in the Community Centre, Stoneyford on every Tuesday at 8.30p.m.

Diocesan Pastoral Areas:

Bishop Dermot Farrell has formed thirteen Pastoral Areas in the Diocese and has grouped Aghaviller, Ballyhale and Mullinavat together as one of these areas. The three parishes are asked to foster collaboration in the years ahead.  Three Representatives from the three Parish Pastoral Councils together with the priests will meet on Wednesday 19th. June at 8.00p.m in the Parish House, Ballyhale to identify priorities and to address the number of Masses in the area. The Bishop proposes that the decision about reducing and rescheduling Masses times should be finalised before the end of June. A new schedule of Masses will be introduced across the Diocese on the First Sunday of Advent 2019.

St Kieran’s College Reunion 2019

On Friday next, 21st. June, at 7.30p.m. there will be the annual reunion dinner of all past pupils at St Kieran’s College.  We would especially like to welcome back those celebrating special anniversaries those who finished in 1959 (60 year); 1969 (50);  1989 (30); 1994 (25) and all in-between.  Come along to meet up with old friends in familiar surroundings.  Dinner starts at 7.30p.m. Tickets are still available by calling 056  772 1086 (Ext 100).

Anam Cara:

The organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Parent Evening on Monday 17th. June at 7:30p.m. in the Horse & Jockey Hotel, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not. Please note there are no Events in July or August. Please contact us on or 085 288 8888.
