Blood Donation Clinic:

A Blood Donor Clinic will be held in The Newpark Hotel, Kilkennyon Sunday 14th. April from 12.00Noon to 3.30p.m. and on Monday 15th. April to Thursday 18th. April from 4.30p.m. to 8.00p.m.  Blood Donation is essential to ensure Hospital Patients get the treatment they need. 1 in 4 need Blood but only 3% give blood.  One Donation can save up to 3 Lives.  Full details of all clinics and on Giving Blood can be found on www.giveblood.ie  or by telephoning LoCall 1850 731 137.

Ring A Link:

Ring a Link provide a local bus service serving Hugginstown, Ballyhale, Kilmoganny, Knocktopher, Dunnamaggin, Kells, Stoneyford, Danesfort, Dunnes Stores Kilkenny.  The service operates on a Thursday morning leaving Hugginstown at 9.00a.m. with the return journey leaving Kilkenny at 1.00p.m. This is the 499 – South Kilkenny to Kilkenny City service.  There is also a trial service currently running on Saturday evenings.  To use the service you need to register at www.ringalink.ie which also gives details of the service timetables, cost etc. The telephone number for Ring A Link is 1890 424141

South Kilkenny Historical Society:

A Lecture on the “Fethard-on-Sea Boycott” by Dr. Eugene Broderick will be given on Thursday April 25th. at 8.00p.m. in Mullinavat Parish Hall.

A Coach trip to Athy Heritage Centre and Shackleton Museum, Duckett’s Grove and Huntington Castle will take place on Saturday May 18th.
