Kings River Athletics Club is accepting registrations for the forthcoming year. We are an Athletics Ireland affiliated club based in Stoneyford. We cater for adult members aged 18+ from Stoneyford, Kells, Danesfort, Dunnamaggan and Ballyhale and surrounding areas.
Training is with Adele’s Eat Train Live on Monday evenings at
7.00p.m. for (Improvers/Intermediate) or
8.00p.m. for (Beginners) at the Community Track in Stoneyford and on

Memory Technology Resource Rooms:
The H. S. E. Memory Technology Resource Rooms showcase a wide range of Aids and Appliances that support independence, safety and Quality of life for people with memory difficulties and dementia. This service is by appointment only and is free to attend. Rooms are open on Tuesdays at St. Columba’s Hospital, Thomastown and on Thursdays at The Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow. “Give up yer aul Bikes for Africa”:
The Rotary Club of Kilkenny at Dunmore Recycling Centre are collecting unwanted bikes and forwarding them to people in Africa. Bikes will be first transported to Loughan House Open Prison in Cavan, refurbishment by prisoners and transported to Africa. Please “Re-Cycle” and help transform the daily lives of other who are less fortunate.

This is an organisation that supports bereaved parents; it is holding a Parent Evening on Monday 21st. of January at 7:20p.m. in The Horse & Jockey Hotel, Thurles. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not.
