Mission Sunday 21st. October 2018:

Next Sunday is Mission Sunday and Pope Francis is asking you and every Catholic worldwide to come together in celebration of World Mission Sunday.  On this very special day every Church in every parish across the globe will pray for the Missions, to help spread faith, hope and love in some of the world’s most impoverished and remote communities.  You contribution to the Mission Collection will be used to help.

Kilkenny Bereavement Support:

Have you been bereaved recently or in the past? Would you like to meet a trained bereavement volunteer in the peaceful surroundings of Villa Maria, Freshford Road, Kilkenny.   Kilkenny Bereavement Support offer a confidential, free bereavement support service to people of all ages.   Phone: 056 775 6538.

Vocations:

In order to better promote Vocations to the Priesthood, the National Vocations Office is organising a national “Come and See” event for men between the ages of eighteen and mid-thirties.  This event will take place in Mount St. Anne’s Conference Centre, Portarlington from 6.00p.m. on Friday 23rd. November to 4.00p.m. on Saturday 24th. November.  Further information later.

Collection: 

Collection in aid of “The Missions”will be held after all Masses next weekend: ‘Mission Sunday’ 20th./21st. October.
