Stoneyford Cemetery Committee would  like to thank all who contributed  to the collection  for the upkeep and maintenance of the Cemetery in Stoneyford at the recent Cemetery Mass.

St. Mary’s Cathedral Restoration Fund:

The Fundraising Committee for St. Mary’s Cathedral is organising a ‘Night at the Races’ in Kilkenny Greyhound Track on Friday 10th. August; – starting at 8.00p.m. Tickets for the night will include a Raffle and are available from 056 776 8693. or 086 828 3478

World Meeting of Families:

Tickets that have been allocated to Aghaviller Parish for Croke Park on Saturday 25th. August and for the Phoenix Park on Sunday 26th. August will be offered to other parishes that are looking for tickets if they are not taken by Friday 27th. July.

Safeguarding – Diocese of Ossory:

Information Evenings will take place in September for all Parish Volunteers (Parish Pastoral Councils, Parish Finance Committees; Youth Leaders; Eucharistic Ministers, Readers, Collectors, etc.).  Numbers are need to plan these evenings:  If you wish to attend please give your name to Teresa Broderick 087 292 3792;  or Carmel O’Toole087 699 6419 or Liam Cassin 087 231 2354 by the end of July.

Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage “The Way”,

Pilgrimage from Ponferrada to Santiago de Compostela, will take place from7th. to 18th. August 2018.

Youth Summer Festival:

Youth 2000 Summer Festival, Cistercian College, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary will take place from Thursday 16th. to Sunday 19th. August this year  –  for Young People aged 16 to 35.  This is an opportunity to experience the Catholic Faith and to meet many new people, with over 1,000 young people from all corners of Ireland attending. The Festival is donation only and free buses for those travelling from all around Ireland.  For more information or to book online: visit www.youth2000.ie.
