Youth Summer Festival:
Youth 2000 Summer Festival, Cistercian College, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary will take place from Thursday 16th. to Sunday 19th. August this year – for Young People aged 16 to 35. This is an opportunity to experience the Catholic Faith and to meet many new people, with over 1,000 young people from all corners of Ireland attending. The Festival is donation only and free buses for those travelling from all around Ireland. For more information or to book online: visit www.youth2000.ie.
World Meeting of Families:
- On Sunday 26th. August, Mass will be Celebrated by Pope Francis in the Phoenix Park at 3.00p.m. A bus has been booked by the Parish for those wishing to travel. Tickets have also been booked. If you travel by bus there is no need to book your own tickets for Sunday 26th. Please leave your name with any of the following as soon as possible if you are interested in travelling by bus. - A Family from every Parish in Ireland will be invited to attend the Festival of Families in Croke Park with Pope Francis at 7.30p.m. on Saturday August 25th. Every Parish in the country will be allocated 10 tickets for this event. If families in Aghaviller Parish are interested in going to Croke Park on Saturday August 25th; please give your names by Monday 23rd. July to 056 776 8693.
Note: Tickets that have been allocated to Aghaviller Parish for both events will be offered to other parishes that are looking for tickets if they are not taken by Friday 27th. July.

Age Action Ireland, is offering basic IT training free of charge to older people in their local area. They run the award-winning Getting Started Programme, providing basic one-to-one IT Training for older people and would like to engage with the community before the classes start in September 2018. Grow meetings provide help and support to anyone experiencing mental health difficulties or struggling with any aspect of their mental wellbeing. Meetings are confidential and no referral is necessary, simply come along. Grow promotes breaking social isolation and promoting social connectedness and is centred around the idea that ‘I alone can do it, but I cannot do it alone’.
