Results

Carrickshock minors (U17) had mixed results this week. They didn’t produce the form of the earlier games on Tuesday evening against Slieverue, and went down by 0-10 to 1-10. But they finished the week on a high, producing their best form so far to beat previously unbeaten Graignamanagh, 2-13 to 2-11. It leaves Carrickshock top of their League group on 6 points after 4 matches before the exam break. The league resumes in early July.

The Under 19s lost out to Tullogher in the opening round of their league, 5-13 to 2-12. A couple of goals early in the 2nd half certainly swung this Tullogher’s way. Carrickshock fought hard but injuries to some key players made it a tall order, but this competition isn’t over yet!

Fixtures

Carickshock take on James Stephens in the opening round of The J. J. Kavanagh and Sons Junior A Hurling League next Saturday 5th at 7pm in Kells Road.
