Ossory Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes:

Bookings are now being taken for those who wish to travel on the Ossory Lourdes Pilgrimage from May 22nd. to 27th. 2018.

Parents Information Evening:

Free Information Evening for parents of school going-children: How to handle exam stress, bullying, peer pressure and other issues facing students of all ages!!!.   Meeting in Springhill Court Hotel on Monday 12th. February from 7.30p.m. to 9.30p.m.   For further information contact 086 820 3521

Eucharistic Ministers:

If anyone is willing to serve in Hugginstown or Stoneyford Churches as Eucharistic Ministers please make contact at 056 776 8693.  Trained will take place on Saturday 17th. and 24th. February from 10.00a.m. to 12.30p.m. in St. Kieran’s College. Extra Eucharistic Ministers are need in both Churches. to extend the present weekly rota.

Parish Choirs:

Members of Parish Choirs are invited to participate at the Ordination of Mgr. Dermot Farrell as Bishop of Ossory on 11th. March in St Mary’s Cathedral.  Practice on Sundays in St John’s Church, Kilkenny at 5.00p.m.

Lenten Challenge!

Many people abstain from alcohol and take the Short-Term Pledge for the duration of Lent. Take this opportunity to help someone you know or love with an alcohol or drug problem by offering up your Lenten sacrifice as a prayer for their freedom and well-being. We can all make a difference for others.

Monroe School Fundraising:

Edward Hayden will do a Cooking Demonstration on Thursday 22nd. February at 7.30p.m. in The Rising Sun. Doors open 6.30p.m.  Tickets are available from: Carroll’s Knocktopher; Walshe’s Shop Stoneyford; Fitzgerald’s Shop Hugginstown; and The Rising Sun.

Lenten Crusade for Life

Join with people all over Ireland in the Lenten Crusade for Life. Why not offer up your prayer and fasting during Lent for the Protection of the Unborn? Perhaps you may like to say the rosary each day, do some form of fasting or have Mass offered for the protection of Life. Starting on February 14th. concluding on April 1st.
