First Holy Communion 2018:
First Holy Communion will be celebrated in Hugginstown Church on Sunday 27th. May 2018 at 11.00a.m. for the pupils of Monroe School and Newmarket School.

Scoil Aireagail:
Scoil Aireagail, ‘Open Night’ for 4th. 5th.and 6th. Class Students will take place on Tuesday 3rd. October at 7.00p.m. All parents and students are welcome to attend. During the evening you will get the opportunity to view the facilities at the school.
Parish Pastoral Council:
At the meeting on Wednesday last a discussion took place concerning the future, having regard to the declining number of priests in the Diocese. It is inevitable that in the not too distant future a discussion will have to take place between parishes regarding co-operation. This will be necessary in order to provide the best possible choice for Mass Times in all Churches. Your input to this discussion will be very much appreciated.
October Station Masses:
October Station Masses will be celebrated on Saturday 7th. October in Stoneyford Church at 6.30p.m. and in Hugginstown Church on Sunday 8th. October at 11.00a.m. Envelopes for your contributions are available at the Church Porch. Your contributions are for the support of the priests of the Parish and the Diocese.
Stoneyford Active Retirement Group:
Next meeting on Wednesday 4th. October at 2.30p.m. in Stoneyford Community Centre. All are most welcome. Final plans for the trip to Belfast from 8th. to 12th. October will be discussed. Seats still available: Please Ring 087 641 4038 or 056 772 8225.
Collection:
The “Ossory Social Services” Collection will be held after all Masses this weekend 30th. September/1st. October.
Taizé Youth Trip 2018:
A youth trip to Taizé in France organised by Ossory Youth will take place from 24th. June to 1st. July 2018. A week in Taize is an opportunity for reflection and contemplation and it is a week of meeting young people from different countries and cultures where new friendships are made. Over 100,000 young people from around the world make the trip to Taizé each year. The trip is open to Transition year, 5th year and Leaving Cert students. Numbers are confined to 25 young people. A Day in Honour of Our Lady – (Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary)
Come to Knock on the 7th. of October and Consecrate your family to Our Lady. Mass celebrated by Fr. Alzheimer’s Day Care Centre:
Kilkenny Carer’s Support Group, will meet on Tuesday October 3rd. from 3.00p.m. to 4.30p.m. at The Village Day Centre (behind the Village Inn Pub). Information and support for past/present carers of people with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.

Clothes Recycling:
On Friday next October 6th. Newmarket School will hold a clothes collection. Proceeds will be used to subsidise busses for school tours.
Bags of clothes may be left into the school from Monday 2nd. October.
