Parents Association – Stoneyford National School:

There was a development at the school over the summer holidays in the form of a brand new playground. This development was realised through many years of fundraising by the Parents Association, who have contributed almost €13,000 to the overall cost of €23,000. Other very generous donations were received. The playground was designed to encourage both physical activity and creative play for children of all ages in the school and early reports indicate that it has been very well received by all of the children.  The Parents Association would like to celebrate this by hosting a BBQ at the school next Friday the 15th. September between 5.30p.m. and 7.30p.m. All parents and children are invited:. Parents are advised that they must be responsible for supervising their children during the barbecue, as this is not a school event. It is hoped the barbecue will give parents an opportunity to get to know each other a bit more and provide the Parents Association the opportunity to acknowledge all those who have contributed to creating a very special environment that the children will benefit from for years to come.   If you have any questions about the event or would like to contact us for any reason, you can do so at stoneyfordnspa@gmail.com / www.facebook.com/stoneyfordnspa. Alternatively please call secretary of the PA, Alma Feeley, on 087 820 4934.
