Under 16 Championship

Our Under 16s bowed out of the Championship last Tuesday night in Callan, losing out to a very strong Conahy team on a scoreline of 5-12 to 5-8. Still, the boys can be very proud of their efforts, they’ve showed huge improvement this season and really gave us a few thrilling championship games, their quarter-final win over St. Patrick’s in particular. The Panel: Shane Fennelly, James O’Shea, Luke McNamara, Josh Treacy, Jack McGuirk, Oisin Carroll, Luke Hudson, Tommy Doyle, Dima Kenneally, Killian Byrnes, Eoin Crowley, Oisin Doyle, Padraig Lennon, Eoghan O’Neill, Luke Dermody. Minor League

The minors lost out in the last round of the league on Thursday evening in St. John’s Park, O’ Loughlin’s 0-18, Carrickshock 0-11. It’s a disappointing end to their league campaign after a very positive start. But Championship is still to come, where they’ll face Tullogher in the 1st round, so it’s still all to play for.
