Senior Hurling
The Senior Hurlers came through a thrilling final round league match against Mullinavat last Tuesday in Piltown. To give an idea of the fine margins, Kevin Farrell’s pointed free deep into injury time sent Carrickshock straight into a Championship Quarter-final and the misfortunate Mullinavat into a relegation semi-final. A point the other way and the positions would have been reversed! The Championship Quarter-final takes place on the weekend of Saturday September 30.In the meantime, there’s a League Shield Final vs Clara the weekend of 16/17 September.
Under 16 Championship
The Under 16s play their County semi-final against Conahy this Tuesday 29th. After two fine wins over Dicksboro B and Conahy so far, the boys seem to be finding form at just the right time. Best of luck lads!
Under 12s
Well done to Carrickshock Under 12s who won out their Go Games final in Galmoy on Saturday. They beat Emeralds in their semi final before overcoming Galmoy in the final. It rounds off a great Go Games season for the boys, with great help from the Under 10s – without them we couldn’t even have fielded a team!
