The Mobile Donor Clinic will visit the Newpark Hotel. Kilkenny on Sunday 27th. August from 12.00Noon to 3.30p.m.
and on Monday 28th. Tuesday 29th. Wednesday 30th. and Thursday 31st. August from 4.30p.m. to 8.00p.m.
Please ensure blood supplies are always available by giving blood regularly. It is important that we always remember that patients always need our blood and this need never stops regardless of what else is going on in the world. 3,000 units of blood needed each week.
Kilkenny Carer’s Support Group:
Next meeting will be held on Tuesday September 5th. from 3.00p.m. to 4.30p.m. at The Village Day Centre (behind the Village Inn Pub). Information and support for past/present carers of people with Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Everyone welcome. Drop in to group or for more information call 056 777 1230.
Anam Cara:
Solas Cancer Support Centre & Anam Cara the organisation that supports bereaved parents is holding a Bereavement Information Evening on Tuesday 5th. September at 7:00pm in Solas Cancer Care Centre, Williamstown, Waterford. This is a free event and open to all bereaved parents. As Anam Cara will need to confirm numbers for teas, coffees, etc, please make contact at info@anamcara.ie before Monday 4th. September or call the Information Line on 085 288 8888.
