Ossory Lourdes Pilgrimage 2017

Almost 300 Pilgrims from our Diocese will travel to Lourdes on Monday 22nd. May.  We pray for the needs of our Diocese and for all who assist the Pilgrimage.  The Diocesan Grotto Mass will be live on the web. on  www.@lourdes.org on Tuesday, 23rd. May at 7.30a.m.(Irish Time)

St. Kieran’s College Past Pupils:

The newly formed Alumni Association is planning a major two-day event on June 30th. and July 1st. to enable all past pupils to come together to celebrate all that is unique and special about St Kieran’s College and those associated with it.   Weekend is starting with a Golf Classic at Gowran Golf Club on Friday, June 30th.  Then on Saturday, July 1st. there will be an  open day at the College from 1.00p.m. to 6.00p.m. with guided tours and an opportunity for past pupils to meet with former classmates in an informal setting.  The official naming of the senior hurling pitch in honour of Fr Tommy Maher and a Gala Dinner in the College Gymnasium on Saturday night.  Individuals can book through 056 772 1086 or email pastpupils@stkieranscollege.ie

Mullinavat Summer Festival:

Mullinavat Summer Festival will take place on Saturday 3rd. and Sunday 4th. of June. Activities will include a ‘Summer Fair’ on Saturday 3rd. with an array of arts and crafts and a variety of Artisan food and other stalls on display. There will be a kiddie’s fancy dress and a teenage treasure hunt and other activities. ‘Matchday Mayhem’ will be Sunday’s main event with a 7 a side Hurling Tournament, kid’s fun and games, BBQ and further stalls.  Live Music will feature all through the weekend, both day and night, with the Community Hall playing host to ‘Art Supple’ Saturday night and the renowned rock band ‘Big Generator’ on Sunday night. It promises to be a great weekend for all the family!
