Novena will take place in the Black Abbey, Kilkenny from Friday 12th. May to Saturday 20th. May. Beginning at 7.30p.m. each evening.
Celebrating the 100th. Centenary of Fatima 1917 – 2017. On Sunday 14th. May the Sacrament of the Sick will be celebrated at 3.30p.m.

World Meeting of Families 2018:
The Diocese of Ossory will host a wonderful Family Fun Day at St. Kieran’s College, Kilkenny on this Sunday, 7th. May 2017. There will be Hurling and Camogie, Children’s Entertainment, Puck Fada, Sacred Space, Art Workshops, Music Workshops and lots more. At 12.00noon the Diocesan Launch of the World Meeting of Families 2018 will take place. All are welcome to come along and enjoy a great day with others from around the Diocese.
South Kilkenny Historical Society:
A Lecture on “The 1917 Kilkenny By-election” by Dr. Eugene Broderick will be given on Thursday, May 11th. at 8.00p.m. in The Rising Sun, Mullinavat. All are welcome

The organisation supports bereaved parents. It is holding its next monthly Parent Evening on Monday 15th. May from 7:30p.m. to 9:00p.m in the Horse & Jockey Hotel, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. This event is open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether the death was recent or not.
