Sacrament of Healing and Reconciliation:

The Sacrament of Healing and Reconciliation for Easter will be celebrated during Masses next Saturday 1st. April 2017.

In Stoneyford Church during the 6.30p.m. Mass; and in Hugginstown Church during the 8.00p.m. Mass.

Trócaire:

Trócaire asks people during Lent to remember the thousands of families in Honduras who have been torn apart by natural disasters. Fundraising Table Quiz, run by Newmarket National School Parent’s Association will take place in Cleary’s, Hugginstown on Saturday 25th. March. All support greatly appreciated.

Summer Time begins this weekend. Clocks go forward one hour on this Saturday night 25th. March. 2017. Summer Time ends on Saturday 28th. October 2017.

Ossory Pilgrimage to Lourdes:

The Annual Ossory Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place from Monday, 22nd. May to Saturday, 27th. May 2017 inclusive. The Collection in aid of the local “St. Vincent de Paul Society” will be held after all Masses this weekend 25th./26th. March.

St. Mary’s Cathedral Restoration Fund Draw:

A new Draw will begin on this Wednesday 29th. March. Tickets are available at the moment from the Parish House, Hugginstown. The draw will be held on the last Wednesday of each month with prize money €5,000.00 per month. Tickets must be in by 5.00p.m. on Monday 27th. Stoneyford Remembrance Sunday Ceremony 2017:

A Remembrance Ceremony will take place on Easter Sunday 16th. April. It will cover the Great Irish Famine; The Dead of All Wars and the Centenary of the Easter Rising 1916-2016. The Ceremony will begin with the Celebration of Mass in Stoneyford Church at 11.00a.m. Note change of Mass time.

“National Tidy Towns Spring ‘Clean Up’ will take place in Stoneyford on Saturday 1st April at 10.30am. Meet at the Community Centre. All are welcome to partake. It will help greatly if you clean up your road, estate or roadway. Thank You!”

South Kilkenny Historical Society:

A Lecture on the “Post Office in Ireland” will be given by Mr Stephen Ferguson, GPO Dublin on Wednesday 29th. March at 8.00p.m. in Mullinavat Parish Hall. All are welcome.

Concert:

The Parents Association of Windgap National School are holding a Fundraiser Concert in Windgap Church on Thursday 6th.
