Trócaire:
Trócaire asks people during Lent to remember the thousands of families in Honduras who have been torn apart by natural disasters. The Lenten Theme this year is: “You are the Salt of the earth – You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:13-14). “What kind of World do we want to leave to those who come after us?” – Pope Francis. Prayer Service:
The Annual Prayer Service for those who’s lives have been touched by Cancer will take place in St. Fiacre’s Church Loughboy on Friday March 24th. at 7.30p.m. All are welcome.
Franciscan Missionaries of Mary:
The Franciscan Missionaries of Mary would like to thank the people of Aghaviller Parish for your generosity to their collection last weekend.
Collection:
The Collection in aid of the local “St. Vincent de Paul Society” will be held after all Masses next weekend 25th./26th. March.
Newmarket/Hugginstown Social Club:
The next ‘Get Together’ will be on Tuesday 21st. March from 2.00p.m. to 4.30p.m. in “Gáirdín an Ghorta”, Newmarket.

A new Draw will begin on Wednesday 29th. March. Tickets are available at the moment from the Parish House, Hugginstown. Stoneyford Remembrance Sunday Ceremony 2017:
A Remembrance Ceremony will take place on Easter Sunday 16th. April. It will cover the Great Irish Famine; The Dead of All Wars and the Centenary of the Easter Rising 1916-2016. The Ceremony will begin with the Celebration of Mass in Stoneyford Church at 11.00a.m. Note change of Mass time. No Mass at 10.00a.m.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service:
A Blood Donor Clinic will be held in The Carraig Hotel on Tuesday 21st. March from 5.00p.m. to 8.30p.m. and on Wednesday 22nd. March from 3.00p.m. to 5.00p.m. and from 7.00p.m. to 9.00p.m. Blood Donation is essential to ensure Hospital Patients get the treatment they need. One Donation can save up to 3 Lives. Anam Cara:
The organisation supports bereaved parents. The next monthly Parent Evening is on Monday 20th. March from 7:30p.m. to 9:00p.m. in the Horse & Jockey Hotel, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. This event is open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether the death was recent or not.
