Catholic Schools Week 2017:   The Theme is “Learning with Pope Francis to care for our Common Home”.

Blessing of Candles to be used in the Churches during the year will take place during Mass today at 9.30a.m. in Hugginstown Church. Church Candles, (or Donations for Church Candles), which will be blessed during Mass today may be left into the Church Sacristy.

Friday 3rd.         Feast of St. Blaise:                      First Friday

Visitation with Holy Communion will take place as usual next Friday. Please let us know if you would like to receive Holy Communion in your home for the First Fridays or at any other time. Blessing of Throats will take place during both Masses today: in Hugginstown Church at 9.30a.m and in Stoneyford Church at 7.00p.m.

Stoneyford Tidy Towns:

  1. Landowners in the Stoneyford Area with hedgerows adjoining public roads are reminded to please cut them on or before 28th. February.
  2. The Annual Spring Litter Pick will take place from the Community Centre, Stoneyford at 10.30a.m. on Saturday 4th. February. Please bring      along your hi-viz jacket, gloves and suitable footwear.

Bingo:

Bingo Session in the Community Centre, Stoneyford on every Tuesday at 8.30p.m.

Ossory Pilgrimage to Lourdes:

The Annual Ossory Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place from Monday, 22nd. May to Saturday, 27th. May 2017 inclusive. The A.G.M. of Stoneyford Active Retirement Group will take place on Wednesday 1st. February in the Community Centre at 2.30p.m.

South Kilkenny Historical Society:

Newmarket/Hugginstown Development Association:

A Litter Pick on the approach roads to Newmarket and Hugginstown will take place from Calvary Cemetery at 11.00a.m. on Saturday 4th. February. Please bring along your hi-viz jacket, gloves etc. Bags and pickers will be provided. Please help with the local Clean-Up.
