‘Aim High’   – Parish Ministry for Young People:

The ‘Aim High’ Parish Ministry Programme was developed to encourage young people to take an active part in their Church, Parish and Community. It helps young people to understand that religion is not just for learning, nor is it a list of rules, but that it is for living, for living life to the full. More importantly it is a journey of faith.   Upon completion, participants will have learned skills to: Learn and grow spiritually; Participate in Parish Liturgies; Minister in their Parish Communities; Develop practices for self-awareness and self-development. Recipients of the programme will be able to enhance their CV’s by: Proving their ability to commit to a project, and displaying their personal responsibility to develop, improve and grow.

‘Aim High’ is open to all young people 16 years and over. The award is flexible, non-competitive and requires an ongoing commitment. The program is coordinated through the Parish, in conjunction with parish organisations, second level schools and youth clubs.

The theme is ‘Every Christian is a Missionary’ . We can all do our part in an open, joyful and generous way .   For further information on WMI please visit www.wmi.ie
