Carrickshock G.A.A. 28 Lúnasa 2016

Carrickshock, Tullogher, Galmoy and Borris-Kilcotton teams enjoying the Go Games finals last Saturday.
All Ireland Final
We wish John Power and all his Kilkenny team-mates all the best on Sunday. In another instalment of the Kilkenny Tipperary saga, this promises to be another epic. We can all be sure to be on the edge of our seats for the afternoon, whether in Croke Park or glued to it at home. Let’s hope we see Liam McCarthy arriving in Kilkenny next Monday.
Minors
It’s a big week for our minors coming up: League match vs Blacks & Whites Thursday in Hugginstown. Championship match vs James Stephens Tuesday week 6th, no venue yet.
Development Squads
Well done to Luke McNamara and Eoin Crowley in their end of season Development Squad tournaments on Saturday. Luke was in the squad for the Michael Foley U15 tournament in Wexford, while Eoin lined out in the Sonny Walsh U14 tournament in Waterford. The boys did themselves and the club extremely proud in wearing the black & amber, and they acquitted themselves very well throughout a season that’s only the beginning of a bright future for them.
The Big Fry
The club would like to extend a big Thank You to all who helped out in the Big Fry, Parts I &II. From the preparation to cooking, serving and tidy up, and all else who helped to make both such enjoyable and sociable mornings.
Under 12 Go Games Finals
Carrickshock Under 12s welcomed Tullogher, Galmoy and Borris-Kilcotton of Laois to Hugginstown on Saturday morning for the Go Games Finals. It was a great morning of hurling involving 4 very competitive teams. And a special thanks to all parents who helped put on a great spread for the visitors.
