Aylward Cup

Carrickshock bowed out at the semi-final of the Aylward Cup Intermediate League on Saturday evening. They lost to Young Irelands in Palmerstown with a gale force wind blowing – Young Irelands simply capitalised on the wind better in the 2nd half and came through 1-14 to 1-12.

Minor Hurling

The minors went down battling in the latest round of the league last Wednesday in St. John’s Park. Up against O’Loughlins, they left themselves a lot to do in the 2nd half but tore into them from there. But goals were the difference in the end, O’Loughlin’s B 3-10 to Carrickshock 1-11.

The Big Fry

The 2nd instalment of the Big Fry takes place this Sunday morning (28th) in Stoneyford Hall at 9:30. The 1st morning in Hugginstown was a great success and a great social gathering – looking forward to seeing the Stoneyford locals on Sunday.

Lucky First Goal Competition

Carrickshock are running a Lucky First Goal competition on this year’s All Ireland Final. Scratch cards are available from any committee member or local shops – match the time of the 1st goal scored to win €200.
