Carrickshock G.A.A. 7 Lúnasa 2016
All Ireland Semi Final
Well done to John Power on Sunday in the All-Ireland Semi-Final. It was great to see John flying the Carrickshock flag in Croke Park yet again, and playing his part in helping Kilkenny get out alive! And it’s great to be looking forward to another day out in Thurles on Saturday.
Lisdowney 7’s
Well done to our Under 13s – they beat Tullaroan, James Stephen’s and Danesfort on the way to the semi-final of the Sweeny Cup in the Lisdowney 7’s tournament. They came a cropper against an extremely strong Young Ireland’s team, but they can be extremely proud of their achievement in getting so far against the cream of Kilkenny – and a few other counties!
Under 14’s
Carrickshock Under 14s had a great warm with Clontarf before the big game in Croker on Sunday. The club would like to extend a big thank you to Clontarf GAA for putting on fantastic hospitality on the day, and to all the parents who drove the boys up.
The Big Fry
It’s time to start fasting – just a few days till the 1st instalment of this year’s Big Fry. It’s on this Sunday 14th in Hugginstown, 10:00. It’s a great parish morning, all are welcome,
