Theology Course:

Carrickshock GAA Club invite all to a fundraising morning for Carrickshock GAA and Juvenile clubs. The Big Fry will take place on Sunday August 14th. in Hugginstown from 10.00a.m. and Sunday August 28th. in Stoneyford from 9.30am. All are welcome.

Arthritis Ireland:

Arthritis Ireland are seeking volunteers in the Kilkenny area to help run activities for all age groups with Arthritis or Fibromyalgia. You do not need to have Arthritis or Fibromyalgia to be a volunteer. If you think you have the skills and free time necessary for such an initiative, please contact 086 234 6491.

Bingo:

Bingo Session in the Community Centre, Stoneyford on every Tuesday at 8.30p.m

Dog Night:

The Fund Raising Group for St.; Mary’s Cathedral Restoration Fund have decided to have a ‘Dog Night’ at Kilkenny Greyhound Track on Friday, August 12th.

Funds will be raised through the following:

  1. The sale of admission/supporter tickets at €10.00 each. Each ticket purchased could be used for the admission on the night or a way of supporting the event. Each ticket buyer’s name will be entered into a draw for prizes; 1st. Prize, 2 All Ireland Hurling Tickets  and 2nd. Prize, 2 nights B&B with one evening meal for 2 in any Irish Clarion Hotel.
  2. There will be 10 races on the night. Sponsorship of each race is €200.00. There will be 60 dogs racing and sponsorship or co-sponsorship for each dog is being sought at €100.00 per dog.   Support would be appreciated.
