Carrickshock G.A.A. 3 Iúil 2016

Leinster Final

Well done to Kilkenny on another fantastic Leinster Final victory over Galway on Sunday. Our own John Power certainly played his part when given the opportunity, and he contributed handsomely to the 2nd-half turn around. Best of luck John in the All Ireland campaign.

Intermediate Hurling

The intermediate league resumes this weekend – Carrickshock face Tullogher in Piltown on Saturday. Let’s hope we can keep up the momentum after 2 wins on the trot.

Under 14 Hurling

Well done to our Under-14s. They came through their League semi-final against James Stephens B by 1-10 to 2-6. This was a vastly improved James Stephens from their earlier league encounter and our boys were made to fight all the way. But they deservedly came through and will face Tullaroan in the League Final. The final takes place this Wednesday (6th) at 7.30 in Bennettsbridge. Best of luck boys!

Minor Hurling

The minor hurlers resumed their league campaign last Thursday against table toppers Tullaroan. This was always going to be a big ask, and the boys came off 2nd best. Next fixture is Wednesday 13th when James Stephens visit Hugginstown.

Under 12 Hurling

The Go Games season for our Under 12s starts this Thursday 7th when they welcome Dicksboro to Hugginstown.
