Karate for Kids

Starting Wednesday 8^th June in Stoneyford Community Centre

All Primary School Kids Welcome – Boys and Girls

Class Time: 4pm-4:45pm Every Wednesday

The course instructor will make sure you child receives the very best karate instruction. We also incorporate plenty of teamwork and fun activities in to our classes to keep your child’s interest levels high. Karate helps children develop healthy, flexible, strong bodies and clear focused minds. Our Kids Karate Program improves concentration, develops confidence and helps children excel not just in karate but in life.

Karate training is done in loose, comfortable clothing such as a tracksuit and we train in our bare feet, no watches or jewellery should be worn in class. Kids should bring a small bottle of water with them.

The cost of the course is €25 and this will cover all 4 weeks. This is should be paid on the first class. Class sizes may be limited. Course fee is non-refundable should your child not complete the whole course.

About Your Instructor:

Your instructor for the course is Kevin Shortall, 4^th Dan Black Belt Internationally qualified instructor under the Japan Shotokan Karate Association. Kevin has over 20 years experience in teach kids karate and runs Kilkenny Karate Club which operates out of the Watershed, Kilkenny. Kevin is also a qualified fitness and stretching instructor.
