Mass of Thanksgiving:

In appreciation for the dedicated service of CURA Volunteers and Friends over the past forty years in our diocese, Bishop Freeman will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving on Wednesday, 27^th. April at 10.30 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, St. Mary’s Cathedral, Kilkenny, followed by refreshments in the Chapter Room.  All involved with CURA past and present are welcome.

World Youth Day 2016:

World Youth Day will be celebrated in Krakow from the 25^th. to 31^st. July 2016.  Young people, over the age of 18 years of age are invited to take part. Please contact Fr. Richard Scriven 087 242 0033 or Derek Dooley 087 938 4242 if any one would like to participate in this pilgrimage with Pope Francis to the homeland of Pope John Paul II.

Volunteers:

Jubilee Volunteers are needed in Rome for this year. Volunteers are asked to give at least a week (or 4 days for the major events) in Rome. The Volunteers will welcome pilgrims at several meeting points, providing information about the services available to pilgrims; they will accompany pilgrims on the pathways designated specifically for them to reach the Papal Basilicas. To become a candidate, you must fill out the application form which can be got from Ossory Adult Faith Development or from www.ossory.ie.

Irish Blood Transfusion Service:

The Mobile Clinic will visit Kilkenny City: Your blood donation will make a difference.
