Under 14 Football
Well done to the Under 14s – they made it a football double last Monday, winning the County Final (Roinn C) to add to the League Final win in March. Facing Blacks & Whites in Skeough, they put on a superb display from start to finish, never letting the opposition into the game. A special word to all involved in this campaign – our players, coaches, parents and officials. Football might not always get the support to match the players’ enthusiasm for it around here. But through the cold, wet & muck, numerous fixture and venue changes, all stuck to the task and got their rewards in the end.
Under 16 Hurling
Under 16 Hurlers play the last round of the league this Wednesday against Dicksboro with a league semi-final spot on offer. A win should put Carrickshock through, so best of luck boys..
Schools Hurling
The schools team have a busy week this week, They travel to Windgap for the next round of the Cup on Monday, then have a league/championship quarter-final later in the week, venue and opposition to be confirmed.
Intermediate Hurling
Best of luck to our Intermediates in the next round of the league – they face Thomastown in Mullinavat on Sunday evening at 7,0. Lets hope we can get back on track after the disappointment of the 1st round
