World Youth Day 2016:

World Youth Day will be celebrated in Krakow from the 25th. to 31st. July 2016.  Young people, over the age of 18 years of age are invited to take part. Please contact Fr. Concert:

Carer Support Group:

Kilkenny Carer Support Group will meet on Tuesday 5th. April from 4.00p.m. to 5.30p.m. at The Village Day Centre (behind the Village Inn Pub). Information and support for past/present carers of people with Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Everyone welcome.

Annual Remembrance Ceremoney:

St Luke’s Hospital will be holding it’s Annual Remembrance Ceremony for families who have been bereaved by the death of their child through miscarriage, still-birth or early infancy death. This ceremony will take place on Wednesday, April 13th. in St Fiacre’s Church, Loughboy, Kilkenny at 7.30pm. While we issue a special invitation to families who have been bereaved during the past year, this ceremony is for all families who have been bereaved, regardless of how long ago. Refreshments will be available for all attending.

Divine Mercy Sunday:

Celebration of Divine Mercy Sunday on 3rd April at the Capuchin Friary, Kilkenny from 2.00p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Rosary, Chaplet of Mercy, Confession, Holy Hour, Mass at 4.00 p.m., with blessing of St. Faustina Relic. All are welcome. For further information contact Kathleen Collins at  086 124 4934

The Newmarket/Hugginstown Community Text Alert:

The Text Alert has started successfully with close to 150 people joined up. Anyone still wishing to join may do so by contacting any of the following committee: Stephen Cassin, Willie Barron, Cleeve Cuddihy or Carmel O’Toole. Signs have been erected throughout the area with the telephone number for Thomastown Garda Station 056 775 4150, which is to be contacted to report suspicious behaviour.

Kilkenny Coeliac Support Group:

The next meeting of the support group will take place on Monday April 4th. at 8.00p.m. in St. Patrick’s Parish Centre, Loughboy.

Newmarket/Hugginstown Social Club:

The next ‘Get Together’ will be on Tuesday 5th. April from 2.00p.m. to 4.30p.m. in “Gáirdín an Ghorta”: All are very welcome to attend.

Stoneyford Active Retirement:

Group will meet in The Community Centre, on Wednesday 6th. April at 2.30p.m. All are welcome.

Family Carers Ireland will hold a launch in their Outreach Centre at Barrowvale Community Centre, Graiguecullen Carlow on
