Carrickshock Juvenile Hurling:

Registration will take place on Saturday 5th. March at10.30a.m. in Hugginstown Hall. Children must be 5 years old during 2016; please bring hurls and helmets; and if weather is good there will be a puck around. We will also have a cuppa for parents.

Newmarket School:

The pupils of Newmarket N.S. will perform two concerts with the Funky Kids group in Hugginstown Hall on Monday 7th. and Tuesday 8th. March at 7.00p.m. A great night’s entertainment is guaranteed. All are welcome.

Mullinavat ICA Guild 60th. Anniversary Celebrations.

We would love the Ladies of Mullinavat and surrounding areas to join us for our 60th celebrations on Thursday 10th. March. Mass at St. Beacons Church at 7.30 pm with dinner and music to following at the Rising Sun. For further information contact Geraldine Holden, President 087-770 1722.

Kilkenny Bereavement Support Group:

Kilkenny Bereavement Support are hosting a Public Talk entitled, “Understanding Self-Harm and Suicide in Young People” in the Newpark Hotel, at 7.30p.m. on Thursday March 3rd. This talk will explore the psychology of self- harm and suicide among young people. The speaker is Dr. Eoin Galavan a Senior Clinical and Counselling Psychologist working in Adult Mental Health services.

Dr. Eoin Galavan and Dr. Olivia Murphy, Senior Clinical Psychologist working in the Child andAdolescent Mental Health services will hold a workshop for parents and concerned adults on Saturday, March 19th. 2016.

Mental Health / Suicide Awareness:

Talk will take place on Wednesday 9th. March in the Springhill Court Hotel, Kilkenny at 7.00p.m. Speakers are Vincent Byrne – Cycling Against Suicide; Angela Hayes – The Thomas Hayes Trust; Cecilia Shefflin, – Mindfulness Coach; and Music by Claire Walsh and James Rice. All are very welcome.

Evening of Choral Music:
