Fit Clubexercise classes for over 50’s (men and women) return to Stoneyford Community Hall after the Christmas break. Come along and enjoy some gentle exercises in a fun atmosphere with a fully qualified and insured older adult instructor. Classes take place every Wednesday evening at 8.15pm and will help you get a little bit fitter while having fun with friends. For more details contact:086 364 9923.

Carrickshock Camogie Club:

Carrickshock Camogie Club will be holding a Dinner Dance on the 16th. January 2016 to celebrate the Club’s success during 2015, in the Ormonde Hotel, Kilkenny. Drinks reception will take place from 7.00p.m. Dinner followed by DJ. Tickets can be bought from any of the Committee or Team Member.

Carrickshock Juvenile G.A.A. Club:

The Juvenile Club will hold there A.G.M. on Thursday 21st. January at 7.30p.m. in Hugginstown Community Centre. All are welcome.

Parenting Programme:

Are you a parent of school aged children (6-16)? Would you like to learn some techniques to address issues of communication, discipline, decision making, relationships, self-control and school success? The Foróige DRUM Youth and Family Project will be delivering the Common Sense Parenting (CSP) programme, starting the end of January, and are currently seeking participants. The skills covered in this parenting programme can be applied to every family. Reflection:

The Baptism of Jesus reminds us of our Identity. It reminds us of who we are and Whose we are.  By Baptism we become sons and daughters of God, brothers and sisters of Jesus, members of his Church, heirs of Heaven and temples of the Holy Spirit.
