Sacrament of Healing and Reconciliation:
The Sacrament of Reconciliation for Christmas will be celebrated during Masses this weekend, on Saturday 19th. December.
In Stoneyford Church during the 6.30p.m. Mass and in Hugginstown Church during the 8.00p.m. Mass.
Wedding:
Congratulations to John Dalton, Boolyglass and Aileen Cunningham, Cuffesgrange who were married in Cuffesgrange Church on Friday 11th. December.
Be Safe this Christmas:
If you are leaving your home even for a short time, do lock all external doors and windows. Make sure all candles and naked lights are out before you leave or before you retire to bed. Be extra careful on the roads during the Christmas season and do show care for others. Safe Driving! With the new ‘Text Alert’ in operation please be vigilant and always be aware there is always Garda help close at hand.
Family Christmas Masses:
There will be Mass for Young Families and Children on Christmas Eve on Thursday 24th. December; In Stoneyford Church at 6.30p.m.
and in Hugginstown Church at 7.00p.m. (Note change of time in Hugginstown Church).
Many of the children will be taking an active part in these celebrations. They will be involved with the Choirs, Readings, Prayers, Gifts, Servers etc.
All children are invited to bring a little gift for other children who are in need. We ask parents to come with their children and to join in the singing of
the Christmas Carols and to celebrate as family. Mass Times on Christmas Day: Stoneyford at 10.00a.m.: Hugginstown at 11.00a.m.
Congratulations to Bishop Laurence Forristal:
We extend our prayerful good wishes and heartfelt congratulations to Bishop Laurence Forristal, on the occasion of the celebration of his Diamond Jubilee. Bishop Laurence will celebrate 60 years as a priest on Monday next, 21st December. During those 60 years he served in the diocese of Dublin and in our diocese for over 26 years as Bishop of Ossory.
Choir Practice:
Choir Practice for the Christmas Masses will take place in Hugginstown Church on Tuesday 22nd. December at 8.30p.m.
If anyone would like to play a musical instrument please bring it with you. Extra voices will be very welcome.
St. Vincent de Paul Society:
The Society would like to offer their sincere thanks to the parishioners of Aghaviller Parish who have been very generous in supporting their Christmas Appeal last weekend.

Carrickshock Camogie Club:
Carrickshock Camogie Club will be holding a Dinner Dance on the 16th. January 2016 to celebrate the Club’s success during 2015, in the Ormonde Hotel, Kilkenny. Drinks reception will take place from 7.00p.m. Dinner followed by DJ. Tickets can be bought from any Committee or Team Member.
Parent and Toddler Group:
Come and join the new Parent and Toddler Group in Hugginstown where you can meet other parents and carers in a relaxed and informal environment. Fun and excitement will be provided for babies and toddlers and parents get the opportunity to socialise and share advice and ideas. They meet every Wednesday from 10.00a.m. to 12.00Noon.
