Lay Faithful on Sunday, 13th. December 2015 in St. Mary’s Cathedral at 5.30p.m.

St. Vincent de Paul Annual Appeal:

The Local Conference of St Vincent de Paul will hold its annual Christmas Appeal after Masses in Stoneyford and Hugginstown on Saturday 12th. and Sunday 13th. December. We would like to offer our thanks to the parishioners of Aghaviller who have been very generous in supporting our work to date. Once again, please help us to assist those in need in our community this Christmas by donating to this collection. South Kilkenny Historical Society:

An invitation to join for a ‘Night of Reminiscing’ on Thursday, December 10th. at 8.00p.m. in Mullinavat Parish Hall (opposite Church). This will be a night of recalling, with affection, old habits and customs which have since died away. There will be opportunities for all in attendance to participate if they so wish in remembering Irish History and social change. Free admission and all are very welcome: Refreshments served. World Youth Day 2016

World Youth Day 2016 will take place in Poland at the end of July 2016.  Pope Francis will attend and will lead the Way of the Cross on Friday, the overnight vigil on Saturday and celebrating Mass on Sunday 31st July.  The Diocese of Ossory invites young people to attend.  Young people (over 18) are invited to make contact through wyd@ossory.ie or Fr Richard Scriven 087 242 0033 or Derek Dooley 087 938 4242 for further information.
