The Ossory Adult Faith Development is offering two evenings of Reflection during the month of November for all Parish Readers and those who wish to become Readers. They will take place in Mullinavat Church on Monday 23rd. and Monday 30th. at 7.30p.m. or in St. Fiacre’s Church, Loughboy on Tuesday 24th. November and Tuesday 1st. December at 7.30p.m.

First Holy Communion 2016:
The Family Masses in preparation for First Holy Communion will be celebrated on Saturday 21st. November in Stoneyford Church at 6.30p.m and in Hugginstown Church at 8.00p.m.
The Ossory Priests Society:
The Ossory Priests Society is responsible for making suitable provision for the care of the priests in the Diocese of Ossory in infirmity, sickness and old age.
The Annual Collection in aid of Ossory Priests Society will take place next weekend 21st/22nd November after all Masses.
Remembrance Masses for November:
Remembrance Mass for the Faithful Departed will be celebrated in Stoneyford Church on Saturday 14th. November at 6.30p.m. All who have lost a family member during the past year will be invited to bring a candle to the alter in remembrance of their loved ones during the Mass; and all are invited to write down the names of their own departed ones and place them at the altar for the month of November. They will be remembered at all Masses during November.
The Rosary will be recited in Stoneyford Cemetery on Sunday 15th. November at 10.40a.m.

Scoil Aireagail
Scoil Aireagail Parents’ Association is holding a number of fundraising activities in the coming weeks.
A Clothes Collection will be held in the school on the week of 23rd. November.
Bingo will take place in the School Hall on Sunday 29th. November at 2.30p.m.
The Scoil Aireagail Christmas Concert will take place on Thursday 3rd. December.
Application forms for Enrolment for the 2016/2017 school year must be returned by November 30th.
“Children Grieve too.”
November 20th marks the First National Children’s Bereavement Awareness Day. The day is aimed at those Supporting bereaved children, whether parents or carers, teachers, sports groups, faith communities or friends in their local communities. We want to highlight that while bereaved children belong in their families we all have a part to play in supporting them through the journey of grief. Kilkenny Bereavement Support will have a stand with trained volunteers in MacDonagh Junction Shopping Centre on November 20th. to support those who have a part to play in this important work.

Monroe School:
S.N.Móin Ruadh is hosting a fundraising make-up demonstration, with the highly talented make-up artist, in the school on Wednesday November 25th. at 7.30pm. This will consist of a demonstration and an interval, then followed by a second demonstration. We hope this will be a very sociable and enjoyable evening, and a chance to pick up very good tips. Understanding the Papacy of Pope Francis:
The Mercy of God and a resulting merciful Church is at the heart of his faith and his teachings. Through a series of talks the Ossory Faith Development Group hope to explore this idea. The Venue is St Patrick’s Parish Centre, Loughboy, Kilkenny on Wednesday 18th. November at 7.30p.m. All are very welcome.
World Youth Day 2016
World Youth Day 2016 will take place in Poland at the end of July 2016. Pope Francis will attend and will lead the Way of the Cross on Friday, the overnight vigil on Saturday and celebrating Mass on Sunday 31st July. The Diocese of Ossory invite young people to attend.
