Another Time Around
Another Time Around
by Angela Hayes
Pansies with their old men’s faces
Seem to laugh off winter’s traces,
And be saying in resilient refrain
Welcome Spring, I’m glad I’m here again.
They wrinkle their noses
At Spring’s sunlight
And welcome the sprinkle of soft rain,
They weave in the wind
And are ready to face another season over again.
For life is precious, and as each season unwinds,
We hope to have the strength to go another time
And wonder at this awesome world
That only a God could design.
