October Station Masses will be celebrated on this Saturday 3rd. October in Stoneyford Church at 6.30p.m and in Hugginstown Church at 8.00p.m.   Envelopes for your contributions are available at the Church Porch. Your contributions are for the support of the priests of the parish and the diocese.

Stoneyford Tidy Towns:

Congratulations to all who assisted in anyway with their efforts for the 2015 National Tidy Towns Competition. The A.G.M./Public Meeting & Prize-giving will take place at the Community Centre on Monday 19th. October at 7.30p.m. Light refreshments will be served. All are very welcome.

 

Kilkenny Carer Support Group:

Meeting on Wednesday 7th. October from 4.00p.m. to 5.30p.m. at The Village Day Centre (behind the Village Inn Pub). Information and support for past/present carers of people with Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Everyone welcome.

Scoil Aireagail Open Night

Scoil Aireagail Open Night for 4th. 5th. and 6th. Class Students of Primary Schools will take place on Tuesday 6th. October at 7.00p.m.

Suicide Grief Awareness Programme.

Kilkenny Bereavement Support are running a six week programme (One and half hours per week) that could support you and your family and friends. The programme will consider the following themes:

  1. A map of grief and grief responses;   b. The stages/models of grief;   c. Dealing with the question “Why?” and other particular difficulties. d. How to find and accept support including the needs of children; e. Memories – continuing bonds;  f. Resilience and self care. The Venue: Villa Maria, Talbot’s Inch, Freshford Road, Kilkenny.
