Age Action:
Age Action is now searching for Ireland’s top Silver Surfers. The Awards celebrate and showcase older peoples’ use of the internet and technology. This year they are looking for enthusiastic people over the age of 50 who have an interesting story to share about how they use their computer and the internet and who will become a role model to inspire more older people to embrace technology. “Understanding the Suicidal Mind”
Kilkenny Bereavement Support are hosting a Free Public Talk, “Understanding the Suicidal Mind” on Thursday 17th. September at 7.30p.m. in the Ormonde Hotel, Kilkenny. It will be given by leading psychologist, Dr. Eoin Galavan. He will explain what happens in the Suicidal Mind and how we can understand the psychology behind the suicide. All are very welcome.
