Under 14 Hurling

The Under 14s got their league campaign back on track with a good win over Slieverue last Thursday evening in Hugginstown. The final score was 7-8 to 3-5. Well done lads, keep it up in the upcoming league matches – Conahy on Monday (15th) and St. Patrick’s on Friday (19th).

Medal Presentation

There was a huge turnout for the Medals Presentation to the Schools Camogie & Hurling teams last Thursday in Hugginstown. The camogie team were victorious in a nail-biting shield final last Tuesday against Ballyhale. Mairead Power, Kilkenny County star and All-Star award winner, was at hand to present the medals to the girls. Last year’s All-Ireland stars, John & Richie Power, did the honours for the boys, who came so close in their League and Cup finals against Graignamanagh.
